Social Initiatives

Since it was created in 1996, the Department for Social Intervention of the «Fundação A LORD» has developed activities with the aim of compensating the more pressing needs of the population of Lordelo.

Social Action

The objective of its social programme is the well-being of the population of Lordelo. Various initiatives have been developed for the different age groups, children and juveniles, as well as adults and senior citizens.

• Employment Club;
• A commemorative annual party on Children’s Day, Christmas and the feast of St. Marino.
• Holiday camps;
• Cultural tourism
• Temporary loan of equipment and orthopaedic items to the ill and disabled.
